Where It All Started
From a young age, I (Devin Dultmeier) was drawn to the natural instinct of hunting dogs. I spent my childhood outdoors in Silver Lake, Kansas — watching dogs work the field, walking creek banks, and soaking up every moment in nature. That early connection with animals sparked a deep interest: I didn't just want to own a dog. I wanted to understand them. I wanted to build one.
Turning Passion into Purpose
When I got my first pup, Rylo, I didn't know exactly what I was doing — but I knew what I wanted to do. I immersed myself in learning: watching training videos, reading, and spending long hours figuring out what worked and what didn't. Over time, I developed not just a skillset, but a true passion for dog training. I realized this was more than a hobby — it was what I was meant to do.
